Breastfeeding is a beautiful and natural experience for both mom and baby. However, it can also be a challenging journey, especially when it comes to finding the right nursing bra. A good nursing bra not only provides comfort and support but also allows for easy access for breastfeeding. We asked our breastfeeding moms what their favorite nursing bras were, and the below is what we found.
Do I Need A Nursing Bra?
Before we jump into the list, you may be wondering if you actually need a nursing bra. The answer is yes. Most nursing bras provide clips to fold the cup down, or a slit in the fabric that allows easy access to your breast. This is much more comfortable than trying to slide your normal bra over the side or above your breast. Doing this with a normal bra while breastfeeding could compress your milk ducts and lead to a clogged milk duct (ask us how we know!). Plus, it’s just uncomfortable. Do yourself and your baby a favor by purchasing a nursing bra–especially if plan to breastfeed outside of your house.
